The Lifetime Skills Guarantee is a Government initiative designed to support the economy and help adults develop their job prospects by gaining in-demand skills.
The initiative includes full funding for almost 400 level 3 qualifications. Any adult aged 19 and over, who doesn’t already hold a full level 3 qualification (A-Level or equivalent), can access the funding.
Qualifications
There’s a wide range of certificates and diploma qualifications which can support the adult care workforce, including the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care.
Incentives
Subject to confirmation of funding from the Department of Health and Social Care, it’ll be possible to claim money from the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) towards associated costs of listed adult social care qualifications. These costs may include employees' salaries, course fees and venue costs for training. Please note, employers are responsible for ensuring the qualification is funded prior to enrolling their staff.
